Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 4, 2026
At Verlantis ("we", "us", or "our"), accessible from www.verlantis.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Verlantis and how we use it. Verlantis is based in Porto, Portugal.
1. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We are a data controller for the personal information collected through this website. Our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the information we collect and the specific context in which we collect it:
- You have given Verlantis permission to contact you about early access, demos, or product updates.
- Processing your personal information is in Verlantis' legitimate interests, such as operating the website, responding to requests, and improving our products.
- Verlantis needs to perform a contract with you or take steps before entering into one.
- Verlantis needs to comply with the law.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Data
When you join a waitlist, request a demo, or subscribe for release updates, we may ask for your email address and country. We also receive the form subject associated with the page or product you used, such as Designer, Hub, BREOS, or general early access. We use this information to respond to your request and communicate relevant product availability, launch, demo, or release information.
Form Processing
Website forms are submitted through Formspree, a third-party form processing provider. Formspree receives and processes the information you submit in the form so that it can be delivered to us. You should not submit confidential technical, financial, or personal information through these forms.
Country Detection
Where a country field is shown, the website may try to prefill it from your device's regional (time zone) setting. This happens entirely within your browser — no request is sent to any third party and your IP address is not used. The suggestion is only to make the form easier to complete, and you can edit or remove it before submitting the form.
Local Storage & Cookies
We use Local Storage to save your preferences, specifically your choice between "Light" and "Dark" themes. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers for analysis. We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies on the website.
External Assets
The website may load fonts and other assets from third-party providers, such as Google Fonts. Those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when your browser requests those assets.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our website.
- Improve, personalize, and expand our website.
- Communicate with you regarding waitlists, early access, demos, product updates, and release information.
- Understand which countries and product areas visitors are interested in.
- Find and prevent fraud.
4. Data Retention
We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including maintaining waitlists, responding to requests, and sending relevant product updates. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
