1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Verlantis website ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

2. Description of Service

Verlantis provides a platform for stochastic modeling of renewable energy systems and community grid management. Currently, the service is in a "Alpha" phase, intended for testing and waitlist registration.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Verlantis and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Portugal and foreign countries.

4. Disclaimer regarding Stochastic Modeling

You acknowledge that Verlantis uses probabilistic (stochastic) algorithms to forecast energy production and consumption. These are estimates based on statistical probability, not guarantees of future performance.

Actual energy yield, financial ROI, and consumption patterns may vary due to weather anomalies, equipment degradation, user behavior, and other real-world variables. Verlantis shall not be held liable for any financial decisions or investments made based on these models.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Verlantis, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
